Our very own Physics teacher, Janet Kahn, is one of the four teachers from the United States who was awarded a two-week summer program at CERN through the Quarknet. All costs for this experience have been fully funded through the National Science Foundation and the Department of Energy. CERN is the European Organization for Nuclear Research and one of the world's largest and most respected centers for scientific research. The International High School Teacher's Program contains lectures, on-site visits, hands-on workshops, discussions, and Q&A sessions. Furthermore, during the two weeks, all teachers will collaborate in several study groups on various topics related to particle physics and its integration in the classroom.

Congratulations, Janet Kahn, we are so proud of you!

BUILDING COMMUNITY:

Silent Auction - March 15th

The Silent Auction raises necessary funds to keep All Night Graduation ticket prices low so that ALL SENIORS are able to attend this amazing and safe celebration with their classmates. The event is sponsored by the PTSA and is typically attended by 75% of the senior class.

We are still looking for donations and could also use some help asking local businesses for donations. Contact Valerie Sayd if interested.

As always, thank you for your support!

Back by popular demand...the Class of 2024 Wine Tasting, this time featuring Italian wines!! This event sold out in the fall. Act now to secure your seat!

FROM TIP TO TOE — A WINE TOUR OF ITALY

The beautiful mountains of Italy and the surrounding seas create ideal conditions for growing some of the most beloved wines in the world.
