Grading for Equity
Rachel Baxter will join us at our October meeting to discuss Grading for Equity, a book by Joe Feldman that is guiding Marshall’s professional learning for teachers and instructional staff this school year. Feldman’s work focuses on the three pillars of equitable grading: Grades that are accurate, bias-resistant, and motivational. Rachel will share information about what equitable grading practices look like, how this could impact students at Marshall, and answer questions you may have.

PSAT / SAT DAY
PSAT/SAT Day is this coming Wednesday, October 11th. It is a half-day of school ending at 12:55 p.m.
Please note that all 10th and 11th-grade students must arrive on time on Wednesday to take the PSAT. Additionally, Seniors who have registered for the SAT must be present on time. However, all 9th graders will be given work to do asynchronously from home. This is because we require all staff members and teachers to be present at school to proctor the PSAT and SAT.
