TOY DRIVE: Bring a little joy to kids while getting treatment!
Cancer can be a terrifying experience, especially for children. Nicholas Allwine, a Marshall senior and a football team member, along with Statesmen Helping Hands, are collecting donations for Dr. Bear's Closet at Children's Hospital. This organization is close to Nicholas' heart, as it aims to bring a little joy to kids undergoing treatment. They are requesting new small toys, board games, card games, books, Lego sets, and craft items for children aged 1 to 18 to use during their treatments. **Stuffed animals are welcome, but they must have new tags attached.
Bring your donations to the football coach's office from now through Nov. 6th.
For more information on Statesmen Helping Hands, contact Trish Alexander or a current member.
