Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
This Wednesday, February 18, believers in the Living God are invited to join us on our Zoom call or spend time in their prayer closets, repenting, joining in a Day of "Reflection and Community Renewal" for Corpus Christi. We're praying repentance will break the serious drought threatening that major city's water supply.
As other sisters and brothers in Christ join from other nations it will be a Global Day of Repentance. Jesus prophesied that there would be "one flock, one shepherd." (John 10:16). For those of us that have repented, been born again and are now in His Kingdom, that's now who we are: thanks to the indwelling Holy Spirit we are One Flock; One Shepherd; One mind; One accord. We pray and help each other!
Global Days of Repentance purify and build up His Bride; the risen Christ Jesus is our soon-coming Bridegroom.
The above photo is POWERFUL! This is the Mayor of Corpus Christ, our dear sister Linda Pate, and many pastors and supporters of God's Solution to heal their drought. The Proclamation from the Mayor to the press actually quotes 2 Chronicles 7:13,14!
2 Chronicles 7:13-14
"If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
MAY THAT BOLD TRUTH NOW BE SPREAD FROM CORPUS CHRISTI--- THE BODY OF CHRIST------- IN ALL PLACES ON GOD'S EARTH WHERE PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL DROUGHT ARE NOW SMOTHERING GOD'S LOVE FOR HIS CREATION.
Here's the Proclamation:
WHEREAS, the City of Corpus Christi is experiencing persistent drought conditions that are placing increasing strain on water supplies, the environment, agriculture, and the overall well-being of the community; and
WHEREAS, sufficient rainfall is critical to the sustainability, resilience, and future vitality of Corpus Christi, and the need for rain has become an urgent and shared concern affecting residents, businesses, and local resources; and
WHEREAS, many residents and faith communities recognize the season beginning with Ash Wednesday on February 18, 2026, and continuing through Lent, as a time of humility, reflection, prayer, and seeking spiritual renewal; and
WHEREAS, churches and faith-based organizations within Corpus Christi have expressed a desire to unite during this season to seek God, pray for rain, and ask for healing of the land, drawing inspiration from 2 Chronicles 7:13–14, which speaks to humility, prayer, and restoration.
NOW, therefore, pursuant to the powers vested in me as Mayor of the City of Corpus Christi, I do hereby proclaim,
February 18-April 2, 2026
“Time of Reflection and Community Renewal”
in Corpus Christi, Texas, and encourage all churches and faith-based organizations in Corpus Christi to seek God during this season, with prayer and humility, for the healing of our land.
IN TESTIMONY THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand, and caused to be affixed the Seal of the City of Corpus Christi on
February 10, 2026
Paulette M. Guajardo Mayor
Please join us in prayers of thanks for the Mayor and Pastors of Corpus Christi for their bold inclusion of Scripture in their press release. May this encourage leaders in all our levels of government in all nations to be bold for His Word.
NDR is joining hands with our brothers and sisters in Corpus Christi, to hold a 2-hour Global Day of Repentance Meeting on February 18 via Zoom @ 12noon Central Time - which is 10am PST / 1pm EST / 8pm CAT / 5am Sydney Time.
We invite you all to join us - as we continue to pray and Repent and to earnestly seek God's face in this time of Crises - applying His Solution - which He gave us in 2nd Chronicles 7:13-14 - which is suggesting that we all come together in unity, seeking His Face, and Repent (which literally means to TURN) from any wicked ways still in our lives. We are all standing together, showing we really mean what we say - that our hearts aren't just about having God to send rain and then thereafter we go back to our old ways. Instead, our prayers will be instead to really TURN away from any wickedness, and choose to serve God fully - even after the rain comes !
