Why did you join GECP?

I joined GECP because it was a great opportunity as an incoming freshman to meet people and make friends that would also be in education. I am also interested in traveling abroad.

Tell us a powerful experience you've had at MSU:

I would say learning about Settler Colonialism through a campus walk of MSU in my TE101 class was a powerful experience. I didn't know settler colonialism was so present in our daily lives and how MSU was a perfect example as it is a Land-Grant University.
