Urban cities make investments to save and protect green space  
The city of Roswell, the Decatur Public Facilities Authority, and the city of Brookhaven use GEFA financing for land conservation projects.  Read more

Students at Savannah Technical College install solar panels on campus

GEFA created the Solar for Schools educational program for students to gain hands-on knowledge in the solar industry. In 2017, Savannah Technical College (Savannah Tech) participated in the program and received a $233,000 matching grant. The students used the knowledge they acquired in the classroom and applied it to installing solar projects on their campus.  Watch the video
