| | "When Will I Get My Financial Aid?" | | As the semester approaches, it's important for you to understand the process of when/how your financial aid will reach LCCC and you! | | |
Accepting Aid: Once your FAFSA and any required documents are received, LCCC will process these and make you a financial aid award. You can view, accept, or reject your award on the Self-Service app in your myLCCC account.

Charging Books: If you have accepted your financial aid, and you are receiving more financial aid than the total cost of your tuition, fees, room, & board, you can charge your textbooks to your financial aid refund in the LCCC Bookstore. For this to work, your aid must be fully awarded/accepted, and you must have completed any requirements (such as student loan Master Promissory Note/Entrance Counseling).

First Disbursement: After the semester has started and the drop deadline has passed, the first financial aid disbursement will occur. The first disbursement for Fall 2025 is scheduled for September 2. On this date, LCCC will apply your financial aid funds to your balance that you owe. If you still have a balance, you can pay
it in full or set up a monthly payment plan. Visit the Payments page
to explore your options.

First Refunds: After your balance has been paid with your accepted financial aid, you will be issued a refund for any financial aid remaining. The first refund date for Fall 2025 is September 5. Refund checks are mailed to the current preferred mailing address that LCCC has on file for you. For faster receipt of your refund, opt to receive your refund via Direct Deposit instead by entering your banking information in the Self-Service app in your myLCCC account.

Disbursement/refunds are ongoing throughout the semester. If you have financial aid awards that come in later, or have later starting classes, you may have later or additional disbursements and refunds of your financial aid funding.

Remember to check your student email and the Self-Service app in your myLCCC account for information or updates about your financial aid.

You can view your Fall 2025 class schedule, including class locations, days, and times, and the dates of your classes in Navigate.
Look carefully! Not all classes start or end with the full semester dates - you might be enrolled in short courses that start later, or end earlier.

Your classes will show up in Canvas sometime on the first day of the semester.
They might show up first thing in the morning, or later in the day, depending on your instructor. If you don't see your classes in Canvas right away on the first day, but they are on your schedule in Navigate, then don't panic - you are still registered, they just aren't published to your Canvas yet!

You can access a campus map to find the buildings your classes may be located in - or stop by Enrollment Services (PF 111) and we will be happy to help you!

Do you need proof of your enrollment and credits for insurance?
You may need an Enrollment Verification. You can access a ready-to-print Enrollment Verification from the Self-Service app in your myLCCC account after the semester has begun.
If you need an Enrollment Verification before that, you can request one by emailing the Student Hub (StudentHub@lccc.wy.edu) from your student email address.

There is space available in the Residence Halls at the LCCC Cheyenne campus! You can apply for a space in the Residence Hall using the Student Housing app in your myLCCC account.

LCCC has part-time student job opportunities all across campus: the Learning Commons, Dining Services, and more!
- On-campus jobs tend to work around your school schedule.
- Some offer additional perks, like a free meal on days you are scheduled to work.
- Pay range is dependent on the job.

Whether you have questions about financial aid, want to get your student ID card, want to find out more information about the academic calendar or have other inquiries, the LCCC Student Hub is here to help. It is your one-stop-shop for student services.
Student Hub staff are here to help you with any questions pertaining to financial aid, your student records, transcripts, general information, and almost anything else you can think of!
You will check-in at the front desk in Enrollment Services in Cheyenne, or the Student Services office in Laramie, in order to meet with a Student Services Specialist, who will assist you with whatever you might need! (This is the same place where you check-in for appointments with your Student Success Coach).
In addition to seeing them in-person at either campus, you can reach the Student Hub via:
