Financial Aid Feature

Applying for Financial Aid

For Spring 2024 & Summer 2024:

FAFSA stands for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Completing a FAFSA is the first step to apply for any financial aid as you get started at LCCC!

The 2023-2024 FAFSA is now available at

StudentAid.gov/FAFSA.

Complete this FAFSA if you plan to attend school during the 2023-2024 academic year - this means Spring 2024, Summer 2024. This FAFSA will use your financial information from 2021 (as well as your parent(s)' financial information from 2021 if you are considered a dependent student).

Don't forget to include LCCC on your FAFSA! Our school code is: 009259

For Fall 2024:

  • FAFSA: Usually, October means the FAFSA for the next academic year is available. However, the 2024-2025 FAFSA is expected to have some significant changes from previous years, and therefore it's not yet available. It will be available by December 31, 2023. We'll update you in a future GEM when we have the date available!
  • Scholarships: The LCCC Scholarship Application will be available starting on Dec. 1. This application allows you to easily apply for the 400+ donor scholarships available to LCCC students. While you are waiting on the FAFSA, it's great time to start applying for scholarships.

Remember to check your student email and the Self-Service app in your myLCCC account for information or updates about your financial aid.

If you have questions, we are here to help!

Technology is definitely a part of our everyday lives - and so are the occasional technology problems! Luckily, LCCC has a resource to help: the Support Desk!

The ITS (Integrated Technology Services) Support Desk can help you with your myLCCC account or any associated LCCC accounts, as well as any computers/printers on-campus. (Note that they do not help with or service personal devices).

The ITS Support Desk is located in the Crossroads Building on the Cheyenne campus, along with the Student Computer Center, which is a great spot to meet up with classmates or get some schoolwork done! Laramie students also have access to technology help on the Laramie campus.

And, all students can use the Support Desk icon in their myLCCC account to request help if they are having trouble!
