New Orleans icons Cyril and Omari Neville are excited to share their new LPs, Don’t Wait ‘Til I’m Gone and VOO DOO, both out today on their own World Order Entertainment. Today’s release offers up a bountiful musical feast, reflecting decades of soul, funk, jazz and rock that bloomed from Big Chief Jolly and the Wild Tchoupitoulas into the Neville Brothers and their whole extended family.
“It’s been a long time coming… I’m proud to finally share my new album Don’t Wait Til I’m Gone” says Cyril Neville. “This project is real special to me; full of family, love, and the spirit of New Orleans. Big love to Shamarr Allen for bringing this vision to life, and to everyone who poured into this record. The Hot 8, Leo, Donald, Kermit, my son Omari, my grandson Ari, and more. This one is from the heart.”

Omari Neville’s VOO DOO is evidence that where lays the acorn not far is the tree. Omari brings all that DNA into his own music, a gumbo of, soul, funk and jam band rockers.
Says Omari, “This album is more than just a collection of songs; it’s a deeply personal journal shaped by time, intention and an unshakable belief in moving when the moment feels right.”
VOO DOO reflects a mindset rooted in patience and precision. Every note, every lyric, and every collaboration was crafted with care, allowing the album to evolve naturally into what it was always meant to be. The album pulses with both heritage and innovation, featuring contributions from legendary family members and musical icons including Cyril Neville, Ivan Neville, Ian Neville, Leo Nocentelli, and Daryl Johnson, among others. At its core, VOO DOO is a statement. It’s about identity, evolution, and stepping fully into one’s role. A testament to the power of timing, the strength of legacy, and the magic that happens when passion meets purpose.
