COMMUNITY DENTAL CARE
3650 Braddock Ave NE, Buffalo
651-925-8410

After months - actually years - of planning, Buffalo will be host to the first Community Dental Care clinic now opening in our area - serving those with state insurance or those uninsured. For uninsured they provide a sliding fee scale based on family income and family size.

They will provide comprehensive dental services including exams, cleanings, sealants, periodontal care, restorative, endodontic, oral surgery, pediatric, prosthodontic and emergency procedures. They also will provide community outreach and education. Their goal is that all people have access to high quality, affordable care to improve their overall health and well-being.

With clinics currently in St. Paul, Maplewood, Rochester and Robbinsdale, adding Buffalo will widen their reach. They serve over 50,000 people from 63 of the 87 counties. Excited to see the brand-new space here - with 12 dental operatories! You can see it too!

You are all invited to the ribbon cutting on Friday, September 16th at 10:00. They are located out at the new Government Center off Braddock Ave NE.

AMBASSADORS ON THE MOVE
T&M TOWING
655 Chamberlain Ave SE
763-682-6823

Got an opportunity to meet with Marc Daluge, owner of T&M Towing, while he was in his towing shed vs on the road. It's a rare thing, as he is a busy man, which is just the way he likes it! That's how he got into towing in the first place! Marc used to do road construction and didn't like sitting idle in the winter. He helped a friend do some towing and the rest is history! He has a business partner and one employee.

T&M does towing services, tire changes, lock outs, jump starts - any roadside assistance. He has a 10,000-pound hoist so he can do heavy lifting! He has done over 100 water rescues! He also had many stories to share from his over 25 years in business:

A vehicle had hit a road approach and went high and wrapped around a tree 50 feet up in the air. The driver was not injured, but it was interesting to get the vehicle down.

Once he had helped someone unlock the car and the person accidentally tossed the keys back in and shut the door - locking themselves out once again.

Getting called for non-starts then finding, upon arrival, that the car wasn't in park.

The best recommendation that Marc can give is to keep your car maintained, keep the battery maintained not only in the vehicle, but in the remote starter as well and always have at least a quarter tank of gas in the vehicle.

BUSINESS INFORMATION
SUPPORT LOCAL CHAMBER MEMBER BUINESSES WITH BUFFALO BUCKS!

They've been around a while, but we don't refer to them often. Now, with road construction happening this month on Division the holidays around the corner, and more construction happening next year along Hwy 25 downtown, it's a good time to tell you what they're all about!

Buffalo Bucks is like a gift card to the recipient. They act as a check to the business - to be cashed at their bank. Think about giving them as gifts, for employee recognition, or a way to simply say thank you. They can be purchased in increments of $20 and we now have them available to be purchased online on our website. You will see the tab under Buffalo Chamber/Buy Local (check link below). Once ordered, they will be made and mailed to you. Easy peasy!
