Your newsletter writer often feels a little in awe of the teenage musical achievements of the Sew and Sew sisters: they played in a family band, while his best was being entrusted with the triangle in primary school ensembles. He still clings to the hope that the triangle part for Frère Jacques will come in handy one day, but more about triangles in a moment...

Meanwhile, the big news of the week is that this weekend will see our latest Super Saturday Henley Warehouse opening.

We're having a special Wadding Event, with advice from Wadding Queen Vanessa and great deals from our massive stocks; Jon will be on hand to demonstrate sewing machines and help you choose the right one for your needs; and Judy will be a-buzz with our huge range of magical fabrics.

Three sides, free pattern – download your Triangle Madness project now

All good things come in frees, which is why we're delighted to offer this complimentary Triangle Madness Quilt Pattern, courtesy of Makower.

Designed by Lynne Goldsworthy, it makes up to 48in square, and uses Makower's Spectrum Solids blenders, which come in 90 shades, to create its colourful designs.

The pattern comes with full instructions and templates to print out, and to make life even easier we've put together 20-piece Fat Quarter packs for each of three colourways:

We've just received the latest Makower blender shade cards, showing the updated range of colours, and we're pleased to say we stock them all! What's more, they're all backed by the Makower 'basics guarantee', meaning the company commits to keeping them available at least until 2027, so you'll always be able to top up your stash as you use the fabrics.

And there's a rainbow of colours in each range, adding up to a total of almost 250 lines, meaning you're going to be able to find something to suit almost any project.

We had fun at the Spring Quilt Fair Duxford last weekend – but now we're back, we're busy prepping for our Wadding Sale Day this Saturday, while our Liz has been working hard making up Fat Quarter packs for all kinds of projects, such as those Triangle Magic quilts with which we started this newsletter.

We have it all here in Henley: vibrant colours, beautiful patterns, endless ideas and masses and masses of fabric, wadding and much, much more.
