Another month has passed, do you ever feel like they fly by way too fast (I know I do)! June is National Homeownership Month. It is a time to celebrate and promote the American Dream of owning a home. Check out the infographic at the bottom of this letter!
From NAR, "Homeownership changes lives and enhances futures, and many people see it as one of their greatest hopes. These individuals are counting on Realtors® to champion and protect homeownership and help make it more affordable, attainable and sustainable. As Realtors® we pledge to continue to lead efforts to ensure that the dream of homeownership is not only possible, but very real, for any and all who want to achieve it, so they can have a place of their own to make memories, start growing their financial futures, and build strong communities.
The National Association of Realtors® is working to engage consumers during National Homeownership Month and all year long with housing-related tips, news, stories and policy issues through
Homeownership Matters
, and
HouseLogic
, F
ollow #HomeownerHero and let NAR know what being a homeowner means to you or your clients."
Upcoming events:
In June our leadership team will be holding meetings with members to give an overview of an opportunity to be a part of a Regional MLS. Watch for more information make sure you attend so you can learn about this opportunity.
What better way to show your Patriotism than to attend our annual Flag Day presentation on June 14th at 8am at Overlook Park. Once again our committee has put together a great event. Just as we champion and protect homeownership we need to continue to protect and show our support for our flag and our Country!
During May we had
161
new listings,
122
went under contract and
89
closed.
