ESL MINISTRY
English As A Second Language
The English As A Second Language (ESL) Ministry celebrated its commencement with its wonderful students and their families at Eglise Porte Etroite and at Riverview Campground. The love of God and gratitude reflected upon each student's face was a humbling experience and we are thankful for our partnership with Eglise Porte Etroite to provide English classes to our Haitian neighbors.
We want to thank the following servants/volunteers Donna Gardner, Lynn Hembree, Jonnie Ray Baxter, Craig Cornwell, Kathy Dahlke, Barbara Harris, and Lita Yarberry for giving your time, talent, and treasure to these precious ones to know English and the love of Jesus! Well done, thy good and faithful servants!

CHRISTMAS SHOEBOXES
Return shoeboxes June 11-18
The Christmas Shoebox ministry is one of our favorite ministries at Guntersville First. There are a few changes to our items list and shipping, please see the Shoebox Information List button below. There is an item swap table outside Heather Epperson's office (2nd floor/Main Bldg.). As you purchase items for your child's shoebox, if you have extra items by purchasing in bulk, please consider leaving the extra items for the others who are also packing a shoebox. This helps offset the cost of purchasing items for everyone.
Shoeboxes are available in the hospitality areas of the Worship Center and on the 2nd floor of the Main Bldg. Please remember to tape the bottom only of the shoebox. Once you pack your shoebox, please close it using the rubber bands provided.
Reminders on how to pack your shoebox...
- Tape the bottom of the shoebox only. Use the rubber bands provided to close.
- Send $6.00 by cash or check (note on the memo line: Christmas Shoeboxes).
- Return your shoeboxes to the Church during the week of June 11-18.

It was designed as a program to help those struggling with hurts, habits, and hang-ups by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process.
