Greetings!
We hope everyone is staying cool out there 😎. With summer upon us, the GFTC team is celebrating the successful wrap of GW’s Entrepreneur Development Network DC (
EDNDC) program and the launch of a new resource for young women in STEM (emphasis on the "T"!) developed by our team of user experience experts. We are especially proud of these milestones as they are at the core of GFTC’s mission of fostering innovation in entrepreneurship.
Over the past six months, the EDNDC team welcomed more than 90 local innovators to our Introduction to Lean Workshops. As Program Manager, I am particularly excited by the program's success and look forward to EDNDC continuing in the fall. I am also thrilled to see similar programs popping up in different cities – fostering more equitable innovation pipelines in communities nationwide.
As part of our efforts to establish and contribute to successful pipelines into tech and innovation starting at a young age, we are immensely proud to feature a first look at Minted. A modular-based resource, Minted will incorporate key expertise from STEM educators while providing resources and connections to young women to foster interest in these areas during their high school careers – a pivotal period for development and learning. I invite you to learn more about Minted in the snapshot of our inaugural case study below.
Last but certainly not least, as we just closed out the halfway mark of 2021 and are approaching our six-month newsletter anniversary, I want to take a moment to thank you for your support and readership. We're thankful for you and glad you are here!
