*FOOD DISTRIBUTION EVENT

Oct. 8 | 9-10:30 AM | Tech School

The churches of Guntersville and One Generation Away Food Distribution event is this Saturday, October 8th, at the Marshall Technical School/12312 US-431, Guntersville, AL 35976, from 9:00 am-10:30 am or until the food runs out. Please note that the food distribution is on a first-come, first-served basis; and a rain-or-shine event.

*PUMPKIN PRAYER STATION

Oct. 8 | 11 AM - 1 PM 

The Pumpkin Prayer Station is a fun walk-thru event for kids to see the gospel being told through different stations of pumpkin carving and receive some goodies too! The Pumpkin Prayer Station is Saturday, October 8th, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (or until goodies/supplies last), in the GFUMC main parking lot.

*C.A.S.T. for KIDS

This is a wonderful ministry providing a fun-filled fishing day for awesome kids! Boats, captains, and volunteers (arrive earlier) are needed to make this day special for the kids and families.

Fall Festival Needs Candy

Fall Festival is almost here, and we are excited to share the love of Jesus with our community! But, we need a lot of candy, like a ridiculous amount of candy, LOL!  Praise God, we can make that happen by candy donations from our Guntersville First family.  Thank you for making Fall Festival great!  Candy drop-off locations are listed below!

PATHWAYS

Life Skills Ministry

Guntersville First has embraced a unique opportunity to mentor some of the teenagers in our local communities. Life has been challenging for these young people. We are developing life skills, establishing healthy habits, and preparing them for success in life and career. We call this new ministry to the next generation "Pathways." If you have a heart for the next generation, please contact Heather Epperson as to how you may serve this next generation.

GATHERING AT CLEARBRANCH

A Gathering for Traditional Churches, Pastors, and Laity will be at Clearbranch UMC on October 22, from 10 am-3:00 pm. There will be a Q and A time with Keynote speakers Angela Pleasants and Rob Renfroe and North Alabama Conference Traditional leadership. The Flock college-aged ministry for students aged 18-25 yrs. From the video above, you can see that leaders Emma Chinchar and Meg Walker are ready to build a much-needed community for college students who are seeking God.
