The Burns Family

We are excited to announce the Burns family has officially joined GFUMC! Britt, Ellie, Emmaline, Mac, Adler, Harlin, and Hugh have been active and serving at GFUMC for several years. Recently, their oldest son Mac gave his life to Jesus and was baptized on May 29th, and the family chose that day to join. We are blessed to have them share their many talents with us and the kingdom. If you don't already know this precious family, please introduce yourself when you see them.

Celebrating 200 years

On May 13th, Pastor Ricky presented an opportunity to our GFUMC family to meet the monetary need to purchase a new organ for the Sanctuary. In three hours' time, we received pledges for the necessary funds to complete the budget amount allocated to upgrade the organ. The new organ is here and sounds WONDERFUL! We are so thankful for everyone's generosity and quick response to make this purchase possible. This is a blessing and a great gift to the church on our 200th anniversary!
Servants needed in all ministries

Each of us has been called and gifted with talents and love to change lives. You and I, as the body of Christ, are vital to God's kingdom work (1 Peter 4:8-11). At GFUMC we have awesome ministries who need servants, aka ambassadors of God, whose hearts burn with His love and thanksgiving so much that they die to self and seek to serve those who are still wandering and seeking the greatest love of their lives -Jesus.
Are you ready to say yes to God and the opportunities He's provided to make Jesus known? We've attached a form below for current service/ministry opportunities. Sign up today!
