Take time to Reflect on the Year Gone By
"Before we pop the champagne and celebrate the new year, stop and reflect on the year that has gone by. Remember both our triumphs and missteps, our promises made and broken. The times we opened ourselves up to great adventures or closed ourselves down for fear of getting hurt. Because that’s what new year is all about — getting another chance. A chance to forgive, to do better, to do more, to give more, to love more. And stop worrying about what if and start embracing what would be. So at midnight on Dec. 31st, let’s remember to be kind to each other and love one another. And not just tonight but all year long."
(quote from the movie "New Year's Eve")

When GFWC President Mary Ellen Brock revealed her Seven Grand Initiatives, she gave us the challenge of showcasing GFWC's volunteer spirit. And here we go!

From January 1st through January 20th, your GFWC Georgia Leadership will provide countless ideas (okay 20) for our club women to embrace for the MLK Day of Service. How will we do this? Using Facebook and YouTube!

Each leader has been assigned a date to create their video. They will provide ideas that clubs can easily do for MLK Day of Service. Tune in to our Facebook page to see their video posts. If you aren't following GFWC Georgia - please click the button below Tina and Becky's first video as kick off this 20-day campaign!
