GGUSD Athletes Prep for Success
Although it's still summer, fall sports are already in full swing across GGUSD! Our athletes bring hard work and determination to the classroom and to their sport as they get ready for a successful 2018-2019 school year!
Pacifica's Chloe Clemmons and the Pacifica Girl's Tennis team have been preparing for their run at an Empire League Championship.
The Garden Grove HS JV and Varsity cheerleading teams have been working hard all summer! Both teams spent time attending camps to get ready to cheer on the Argonaut sports programs as they look to conquer their new competition in the Golden West League.
Early Start to School
Many of our students are getting a head start to the school year, including these students from Murdy Elementary School who are participating in early start and engaging in robotics and coding. The school's Media Team is learning to use infographic tools, green screen technology, & iMovie.
Community Connection
Thanks to all of those who visited our GGUSD booth at the National Night Out event hosted by the Garden Grove Police Department last week. We are grateful to be part of a community that has so many wonderful organizations dedicated to the safety of our families and children.  #GGUSDPride
Summer Improvement Projects : As part of our seismic safety renovations, La Quinta High School has a brand new cafeteria building. Last week, our Food Services staff attended a training on the new kitchen equipment. The start of the school year is right around the corner and GGUSD employees are ready!
