GHG Inventory, Electrification Roadmap, Climate Priorities

This week's San Rafael City Council meeting will focus on where we stand in reducing the greenhouse gas emissions that are driving climate change, along with key strategies to meet the critical 2030 goal of emissions 40% lower than 1990 levels, and to stay on track to reach zero net emissions by 2045.

Priorities include rapid implementation of a new Building Electrification Roadmap, an EV Acceleration Strategy, composting of green cart organics, and preparations for sea level rise and other increasingly costly climate impacts.
