Good Evening,

All juniors will be taking the SAT's on Tuesday 4/13 and we have an early release this week on Wednesday, 4/14.

Several juniors and seniors presented end of year events to the School Board Monday evening and we have some updates. They were incredible with their delivery and you should be proud knowing that they're coming up with ways to continue to offer our traditions. Please take a look and as information becomes available, we will provide additional updates as soon as possible.

Have a great week!

Nice job Marlow!
Marlow Mikulis recently completed her internship at Misiaszek & Turpin, LLC. Her mentor was architect Claire Wilkens AIA. Marlow was very involved in a Gilmanton barn design project. She visited the site, met with the customers, completed elevations, sections, floor plans and other drawings displayed in the GHS computer lab. Great work, Marlow!
Cell phones away please
We have some new signs on the GHS campus thanks to Gerron Belanger and Officer Raxter. We appreciate the friendly reminder to put our phones down and focus on driving!
Attention all JUNIORS
The AP exam format has been finalized. All paper/pencil exams will be proctored at the Gilford Community Church basement and the digital exams will be given at home. The College Board will forward access codes and instructions as the date gets closer. Remote students taking classes through VLACS have all selected their preferred exam type and those selections have also been finalized.
FOOTLOOSE
Footloose celebrates the exhilaration of youth, the wisdom of listening to one another, and the power of forgiveness. You will enjoy this one-hour version of the explosive musical!

Paraprofessional Appreciation Day

A shout out to all of our paraprofessionals! We certainly appreciate all that you do for the learners here at Gilford High School.
April break April 26 - 30
Enjoy your time off!

Congratulations to Scott Piddington! Scott was awarded Gilford's 2021 Champion for Children. Thank you for all that you do for GHS and our learners.
The Champions for Children award program was established by New Hampshire School Administrators Association as a meaningful way to recognize New Hampshire citizens who have given distinguished and voluntary public service to benefit children. Winners must embody, through action, the guiding principles to champion efforts designed to successfully provide for the needs of all children. Their recognition reflects unique and special service above and beyond their normal duties.
Tim Goggin, our assistant principal, has taken on numerous responsibilities so that our learners and staff can attend school five days a week. He led the effort in working with staff members, last summer, to be one of a handful of high schools to provide in-person instruction this year from the beginning. Thanks for all you have done this year Mr. Goggin!

Please take a look at some information for the end of year events that will be happening at Gilford High School. Keep in mind that Awards Night and Graduation are still tentative.
