The Georgia Head Start Association's Annual Spring Training Conference is a professional development and training event for Head Start, Early Head Start, Early Head Start Partnerships, Migrant and Seasonal Head Start Programs and early childhood professionals and leaders. The Conference Theme is "Head Start is Heart Work". This Conference is an excellent educational and networking opportunity for Head Start parents, teachers, leaders and support staff as well as educational contractors and consultants, suppliers and vendors, and anyone desiring to learn more about Head Start and Early Head Start! These are federally funded, comprehensive and high quality preschool Programs for children 0-5 and their families.
This conference will provide learning tracks to support Head Start comprehensive services (education/disabilities, health & nutrition, mental health\staff wellness) as well as fiscal, facilities, transportation, governance and administrative training. Learning tracks will support Program grantee's understanding of the Full Enrollment Initiative (FEI) and the Notice of Proposed Rule to support the Head Start Workforce as well as Child Health and Safety and Fatherhood Initiatives.
