Resolution Recharge Concludes
Congratulations To The Biggest Losers!

The WCA Group Health Trust (GHT) Resolution Recharge challenge concluded on March 16. Congratulations to everyone that signed up and committed to making healthier choices! Even though the challenge has ended, keep up the great work.

Those participants with the highest weight loss percentage received a prize. A random drawing was done to break any ties. For a complete list of participants with at least a 1% weight loss percentage please click here.

Heather Stinson from the Appleton Area School District was the overall winner, losing 13% of her body weight.

Another top finisher, Kelly Hietpas set a goal to lose weight which she hoped would allow her to stop taking some of her medications. After losing 15 pounds and checking with her physician she has been off her medication for more than three weeks.

One of the recommendations for successful weight loss is to record your progress regularly. Several participants found recording their progress helpful.

Suzanne Wood, Green Lake County: "Keeping track of my weight loss each week motivated me to keep going."

Katelyn Webster, Sheboygan Falls School District: "It was helpful to track my progress. As long as I focused on filling my days with many fruits, veggies, and lean proteins, I was able to see positive results."

Lynda Lambert, Marathon County: "It was good to be accountable to report progress and final percent lost. I started eating healthier and incorporated more lean protein into my diet."

At the end of the challenge anyone that had reported all six weeks was entered in a drawing. Listed below are the winners.
