QCDR: Qualified Clinical Data Registry for MIPS
ACG and ASGE are pleased to announce that the GIQuIC Registry has once again been approved as a Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) for reporting to the Merit‐based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) for the 2025 reporting year.
The QCDR reporting mechanism is a dynamic option that allows providers to report to traditional MIPS and the Gastroenterology Care MIPS Value Pathway (MVP).
“Being an approved QCDR is a benefit for our users because it gives them the ability to report on Quality Payment Program and QCDR measures that are meaningful to their specialty practice,” said Dr. Colleen Schmitt, who was recently elected President of the GIQuIC Board of Directors.
“Utilizing the GIQuIC registry for reporting to CMS also provides participants with performance feedback throughout the year, providing individual clinicians and groups with the real-time feedback needed to improve performance and by extension their scores. Further, support from the GIQuIC staff allows physicians and their teams to efficiently navigate the reporting process,” she added.
The 2025 GIQuIC QCDR is approved to report for individual eligible providers, groups, subgroups, and virtual groups to the Quality, Promoting Interoperability, and Improvement Activities performance categories.
