Greetings!
Amid the homebound social isolation of the coronavirus, society as a whole has never had so stark a reminder of why digital skills and racial inclusion matters. COVID-19 has uncovered existing social disparities in low income communities mostly comprised of black and brown people in America. According to German A. Cadenas, an assistant professor of Counseling Psychology at Lehigh University's College of Education, systemic obstacles exist for women, minorities and immigrants in Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics, as evidenced by low representation and education attainment gaps.
The world has gone digital and today’s youth are children of the digital age. Camden Dream Center mission is to promote digital diversity, equity, and inclusion, so that all families could benefit from this 'new normal' as a result of the global pandemic.
DONATE today and help us to promote the digital inclusion mission for families across the nation.
