Time to wrap up our Secret Snowman program. Letters have been answered and more than 400 gifts have been donated for the students at Chavez School. Now it's time to place the final bow. Let’s get CREATIVE & decorate these presents.

Bake dog treats for our furry friends at the Community Animal Rescue Effort as they await their fur-ever homes. Please consider donating a dog toy or bag of dry dog food!

CARE is a no-kill, shelter that places pets into safe, lifelong homes; serves as a resource for pet owners; works to reduce overpopulation; and supplies food banks with pet food for owners in need. Learn more about CARE.

District 35 crafter Nancy Lohan will lead a workshop on creating beautiful giant 3D snowflakes designed to bring the magic of Winter indoors to Over the Rainbow residents. You will leave this workshop knowing how to create your very own paper snowstorm.

OTR provides housing for adults with disabilities to lead independent lives.

‘Tis the season to prepare special holiday treats for our friends in the Special Needs Adults Program (SNAP). Prep begins at 3:30pm in the Oasis followed by a movie. Then we will head over to GYS for holiday food and fun! *A small transaction fee will be added at checkout.

Be a Buddy! GJHP's Book Buddies pairs Big Buddies (5th-8th Grade) with Little Buddies (Kindergarten-2nd Grade) to read together after school at the Glencoe Library.

Big Buddy Training will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 3:30pm-4:30pm in The Oasis.

It's Not Too Late To Join Your Flock on the Block for our Thanksgiving Fun Run!

This time we are doing it together, so lace up your shoes, find your best turkey outfit and hit the Glencoe streets in our 5K. Run or walk just don’t get your feathers ruffled. Open to all!

GJHP MISSION STATEMENT
The Glencoe Junior High Project (GJHP) is a parent-led, non-profit organization that has sought to engage Glencoe middle school students into the community since 1973. In order to carry out our mission of fostering socially aware, civic-minded and community-oriented individuals, we offer Glencoe 5th-8th grade students opportunities to volunteer in their community, attend social activities and events, perform on stage, as well as access to a youth drop-in center in Glencoe's Central School.
