After several years as an art director and advertising director, Zim Loy launched Kansas City Home Design – published by Abarta Media – in 1996. Loy served as founding editor of that publication and two years later, she took over as editor of Kansas City Magazine. In 2003, Loy left Abarta and developed Kansas City Spaces for the The Kansas City Star's Grand Communications division.

Loy will share copies of the magazine with us and offer tips for effectively working together.

Though podcasting has been around for more than a decade, podcast’s moment is now. Podcast listenership has more than doubled over the past five years. During this session, you’ll learn how a podcast could be a part of any company’s communication efforts and see examples of how it can showcase thought leadership and lead to media mentions.

Hubspot said that video marketing was trending as the must-do content marketing tactic of 2018 and beyond. Video content has one of the highest marketing consumption rates, but for that to translate into ROI for a brand, it must be done correctly....smartly. That is what this presentation will focus on. The What, How and Why of creating and using video content in 2019. We will also discuss how video content is complemented by and is a compliment to, all other forms of content marketing. Thus increasing the ROI on a whole campaign.
