Description:

For over 20 years the CEIA Academy has been training higher education professionals new to professional practice in experiential education and work-integrated learning in Vail, CO. To attract new members and meet the needs of their institutional partners, CEIA has created the CEIA Academy on the Road and are thrilled to share that Endicott College will be hosting the first ever Academy on the Road program in August! This Academy on the Road program will offer three curated training tracks with a new track focused specifically on helping employers help maximize their internship and entry talent acquisition programs. Intern Bridge will facilitate this employer track and share their Total Internship Management Methodology based on in-depth research and proven strategies. This all-day workshop will be highly interactive and is accredited by both SHRM and HRCI for 6 continuing education credits.

Areas Covered:

· Why Internships Matter

· Next-Gen Leaders

· Organizational Readiness & Commitment

· Recruiting Interns

· Creating a Structured Experience of Value

· Legal Aspects

· The Four Elements of Successful Internship Programs

· Onboarding vs Orientation

· Involving Your Entire Organization

· Remote Applicability

· Assessing Your Organization’s Program

Why You Should Attend:

Internship programs give organizations the opportunity to retain top talent and assist in overcoming the challenge of finding skilled labor in today’s tight hiring market. Many industry leaders have developed internship programs to not only help brand their organization, complete more short-term projects, but also to entice potential entry-level hires into a talent pipeline. Effective internship programs can mean the difference between creating organization ambassadors or adversaries with the next generation of leaders and this workshop will provide you with the framework needed to successfully capture and retain long-term hires down the line.

We invite you to join us for this amazing opportunity to maximize your internship and entry talent acquisition programs! For any queries or questions, please reach out to Cherie Lynch at clynch@endicott.edu for general information or for employer-track questions call Intern Bridge at 1-800-531-6091 or email them at info@internbridge.com.
