SBA has waived both the upfront and ongoing guaranty fees for manufacturers (NAICS 31–33), helping reduce overall borrowing costs on SBA 504 loans. GLCF is further enhancing these savings by covering 50% of the third-party lender fee (up to $5,000) for qualifying manufacturing projects approved through September 30, 2026.

Big changes are coming to SBA lending, and GLCF was there for the announcement.

At the NADCO Spring Summit in Washington, D.C., our own Julie Parker and Gary Witkowski were present for a major SBA announcement....one that directly impacts how we serve our small business clients.

Starting July 4, 2026, eligible borrowers who combine 7(a) and 504 loans can access historically high levels of SBA financing, with combined funding reaching up to $10 million.

Teresa brings an impressive background with her, including experience in consumer lending, 17 years in real estate, and 13 years in title insurance. She holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Davenport University.

In her new role, Teresa is excited to dive into 504 loans and use her expertise to help clients enjoy a smooth closing process so they can focus on growing their businesses.

A West Michigan native, Heather grew up in Jenison and earned her Bachelor's in Business Administration from Grand Valley State University. Heather brings expertise in mortgage, auto, and personal lending, having experience with banks, credit unions, and mortgage companies. As our new Closing Specialist, she will be responsible for assisting with loan servicing and closing operations.
