GLCF is Celebrating
25 Years of Improving the Quality of Life in Greater Lowell

and we need your help
Greetings!.

This year, the Greater Lowell Community Foundation (GLCF) is celebrating our 25th Anniversary. In 1997, GLCF was formed, appropriately so, by the community – a great group of diverse people who cared deeply about their community. Their generosity was their commitment to improving the quality of life in the Greater Lowell region.

As GLCF celebrates 25 years of improving the quality of life in Greater Lowell through impactful, strategic philanthropy, we recognize that it is community partners like YOU who have made our work possible. We invite you to record a short video anniversary message and upload it by August 15, 2022.

If you'd like to participate, GLCF Partners are asked to create a 5-60 second recorded video with a message for GLCF to showcase throughout 2022. Feel free to record this
independently or include your teams in this special message.

GLCF 25th Anniversary Partner Video Guidelines
  • Shoot the video horizontally - in landscape mode
  • Use a smartphone with a good camera, like an iPhone
  • Shoot during the day in a room with a lot of natural lighting, or right by a window. (Do not have the window behind you.)
  • Frame the subject in the center of the shot, from their waist up to just above their head. Don't cut off their head. They may be sitting or standing.
  • Hold the camera steadily with two hands close to the body, or find something to prop it up (e.g., on a desk). Just make sure it won't fall, and that it frames the subject in the way mentioned above.
Audio guidelines:
  • Choose a quiet room without an echo, wind, or traffic and/or people talking in the background.
  • Talk loudly and clearly
Content guidelines:
  • Keep it short and sweet: 60 seconds or less.
  • Please include the phrase "Happy Anniversary GLCF”
  • Be fun + creative. We can't wait to see what you come up with.
Extra footage:
  • If you have video or photos of a GLCF grant funded project (that you have not previously shared with GLCF), please upload them to the folder as well. Please make sure file names include your organizational name, this helps us to stay organized.
