GLDS Cloud-Access and Complex Password Changes
 Does your office use BroadHub in the Cloud or DSB? If so, there have been recent changes in password complexity requirements.
Citrix, the infrastructure that enables GLDS BroadHub in the Cloud, and DSB, requires that users that access either platform change their password every 90 days. Citrix will prompt for this password reset at login, every 90 days.
To ensure your data stays safe, access to GLDS systems via Citrix require the use of a complex password. Complexity requirements are enforced when passwords are changed or created.
Passwords should follow this format:
- At least 10 characters in length
- Must not contain the user's account name or parts of the user's full name that exceed two consecutive characters
- Should contain characters from three of the following four categories:
- English uppercase characters (A through Z)
- English lowercase characters (a through z)
- Base 10 digits (0 through 9)
- Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %)

FCC TV Viewer Protection Act - Required BroadHub Upgrades
 Do you offer multichannel video service within the United States? If so, you're obligated to comply with a new consumer protection law going into effect December 20th 2020.

The passcode is: 4l=FQ9t5 (Please note the presentation starts at the 10:00 minute mark of the recording) The implications of the new law are significant, and the changes required to address it are equally large. We anticipate that more than 100 broadband service providers will need this new version of BroadHub, and we're planning ahead to make the transition as easy as possible for you, and for us. If your company is using an older version of BroadHub (or still on WinCable) we expect that your upgrade will be more significant than if you were more current. To minimize the impact of the upgrade, we're recommending you upgrade twice - once now, and once when the new BroadHub version (likely 2.5.7x) is available. Why twice? We know that an upgrade from the version you're using today, to the current version (2.5.54) will be more significant than a move from 2.5.54 to the 2.5.7X release which covers Truth in Billing - so we're proposing you take your upgrade in phases.
Please have one individual from your organization complete this online Pre-Upgrade Questionnaire which will be the first step in helping you plan your upgrade. We'll review the results of the questionnaire and will reach out to you with a plan.
