Thursday, December 9, 2021
11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
White Pines Golf Club and Banquets, Bensenville, IL
Presented by GLGA

Join GLGA as Andrew Klemens, partner with BKD, LLP, reviews the Illinois Graphic Arts sales tax exemption as well as tax policy impacting printers in Illinois.

Two years ago, the Illinois Graphic Arts sales tax exemption was reinstated. This exemption has been expanded significantly to include many of the consumable items used in production that previously were subject to tax. Come learn about the impact these Illinois rules have on the tax exemption for graphic arts producers. This session will review the exemptions and will discuss the changes graphic arts companies should implement when purchasing materials and equipment in the future. Additionally, Andrew will review tax reform activity currently being discussed in Congress.
