Recycling various types and grades of paper is essential to building a circular economy. Paper manufacturing and recycling, like other products, is subject to changing market conditions and the demand for packaging has caused changes in the manufacturing of certain types of fiber-based products. In addition, a shift from plastics to fiber-based packaging is also having an influence on the market. These changes demand that a method be developed to predict the recyclability of paper products.
