Changes to Biometry Measurement Protocols

 

On 2 August 2023, three changes were made to biometry measurements in relation to the way data observations are counted and displayed. These changes affected biometry - trees, biometry - graminoid biomasses, and biometry - vegetation covers.

ECCA Trainings held for Child Clubs in Dhankuta, Morang, and Jhapa Districts in Nepal

 

Environmental Camps for Conservation Awareness (ECCA) recently conducted a Capacity Building Training for Child Clubs from 22-18 May 2023 for the representative members of Child Clubs from 16 project schools in Dhankuta, Morang and Jhapa in the eastern part of Nepal.

Following the success of the first edition of the GLOBE Cooling Down Student Investigation by GLOBE Malta and the Xrobb I-Ghagin Outdoor ESD Program, the second edition provided an opportunity to schools and local councils to establish a dialogue between them.

GIO is encouraging the GLOBE Community, specifically students, to design and submit a design that represents the Year of Climate and Carbon. Submissions will be accepted through 31 August. The logo will be decided upon by representatives from each GLOBE region.
