GLOBE Community Contributes Invaluable Observations
The NASA GLOBE Trees Challenge 2022: Trees in a Changing Climate (11 October-11 November) received 4,753 observations from 754 unique participants, including from 92 GLOBE schools. The data points spanned more than 1,500 unique sites from 50 different GLOBE countries.

2022 North American Regional Meeting (NARM) Wraps Up
The NARM took place virtually and at three in-person professional development workshops. Over 130 people attended the event, which focused on a variety of aspects of The GLOBE Program, including talks, updates, activities and discussions.

A special survey has been created to establish a baseline and to determine the needs of community members who are visually impaired. The deadline for survey input is 31 December.

The December IOP is focusing on examining the impact urbanization has on the environment – calling for all GLOBE students to take surface/air temperature and cloud observations and to develop related research projects.
