Important Carpool Notes...
Parents parking on Melinda Drive should please refrain from blocking mailboxes. This is a recurring situation, and homeowners are complaining. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and compliance with this matter. Please be respectful of our neighbors and remember CREST.
In the morning, cars should line up in TWO lines behind the "carpool" cone. Once lines have filled up (to the dumpster/GaGa pit), cars should fill in FOUR lines in the bottom part of the lot. Please pull ALL THE WAY UP to make space for the cars behind.

Important Notes About Middle School Lunch
Our middle school students continue to eat outside in order to minimize the risk of COVID-19 exposure and maximize student ability to attend school. However, many of our 6th & 7th grade students are having a very hard time with proper lunch behavior, and are instead playing with and throwing food, leaving trash all over the ground, and walking around rather than remaining seated.
Should this continue to be an issue, we will have no choice but to move lunch indoors, and this will substantially increase the likelihood of large groups of students having to quarantine when there is a positive COVID case. Please speak with your student(s) about appropriate lunch behavior. Students are expected to remain seated at all times. Food should either be eaten or remain on the plate/container to be disposed of, and all trash should be picked up and placed in available cans at the end of lunch time. Thank you in advance for helping with this so we can continue to eat outside and keep our students safe!

Yearbook Recognition Ads
Now is the time to design your 8th Grade Recognition ad. You may feature your eighth grader individually or in a group.
We call these friend ads. Friend ads are 8th grade ads that highlight the strong bonds and friendships forged at GLOBE.
A great way to preserve the memory of the times friends had together, examples of friend ads include sports teams, friend groups, clubs, or just fun photos!

We cherish our partnership with Georgia State University's (GSU) Chinese Language, Culture, and Business Initiatives.
Last week, GLOBE received a very generous donation from GSU's Chinese Language, and Business Initiatives in the Office of International Affairs.
Each GLOBE Mandarin classroom at LC and UC received high quality resources to aid in Mandarin instruction. A special thank you to GSU!

What to do if you or your child have tested positive or had close contact with someone who is positive:
|
|
From our Nurses:
- Please remember to notify the nurse as well as the teachers if you are keeping your child home due to illness.
- If your child has concerning symptoms and you are getting him Covid-tested, his siblings must remain at home until the (hopefully) negative test result is received. If it is positive, please contact the school nurse immediately and of course, siblings must remain at home.
- If you have your child Covid-tested, please email the result (positive or negative) to the nurse.
- We ONLY accept PCR test results. Rapid antigen test results are not acceptable.

What's on the Menu?

Breakfast is served daily with no pre ordering needed. Please stop by the cafeteria for Grab -n- GO breakfast.Lunch MUST be pre-ordered each day in the homeroom. Students order lunches by informing their HR teacher, when asked during attendance, if they will need school lunch for the day. Lunch will be delivered to the designated areas assigned per grade level and after the student retrieves lunch, will proceed back to their classroom.
To guarantee the safety of students with allergies, please review our daily menu on the website. Click "what's on the menu."
