Fundraising

GLOBE’s Development Committee is seeking parents who are interested in helping plan for GLOBE Trot on October 22. We plan to have the event outside at each campus (to avoid packing kids in busses) and only parent volunteers will be allowed to attend to prevent overcrowding. We are also seeking sponsors for the event and more details on the event and sponsor recognition levels can be found here

If you are interested in helping on the planning committee, helping on the day of the event, or becoming an event sponsor, please email Meghann Adams at madams@theglobeacademy.net.

Email questions:

What to do if you or your child have tested positive or had close contact with someone who is positive:

Please contact the appropriate school nurse, Lindsay Reese (Lower Campus) or Cherrie Robinson (Upper Campus), immediately.

From our Nurses:

  1. Please remember to notify the nurse as well as the teachers if you are keeping your child home due to illness.
  2. If your child has concerning symptoms and you are getting him Covid-tested, his siblings must remain at home until the (hopefully) negative test result is received. If it is positive, please contact the school nurse immediately and of course, siblings must remain at home.
  3. If you have your child Covid-tested, please email the result (positive or negative) to the nurse.
  4. We ONLY accept PCR test results. Rapid antigen test results are not acceptable.

Breakfast is served daily with no pre ordering needed. Please stop by the cafeteria for Grab -n- GO breakfast.Lunch MUST be pre-ordered each day in the homeroom. Students order lunches by informing their HR teacher, when asked during attendance, if they will need school lunch for the day. Lunch will be delivered to the designated areas assigned per grade level and after the student retrieves lunch, will proceed back to their classroom.
