Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA) opportunity

FREE opportunity for high school students in Marin, San Mateo and San Francisco counties to learn, grow and experience leadership development at a Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA) camp.

RYLA 2023 dates are July 31 – August 4 at the Redwood Glen Camp and Conference Center in Scotts Valley. The Camp offers students opportunities to meet other incoming sophomores, juniors and seniors from 35-40 high schools, to exchange ideas and practice their leadership skills, and to apply what they have learned immediately within a few weeks when school starts.

Guided by trained facilitators and staff, students engage in cooperative activities to develop skills that will enrich their academic, personal and professional lives. The 20+ years of our RYLA program has continually generated feedback from the students that is overwhelmingly very positive. All staff receive Youth Protection training, are fingerprinted and certified from a youth protection standpoint.

We would like to make this opportunity known to all high school students. We have placed a poster in your school last month. Attached is an electronic image of that poster which you can use.

Students can apply at www.ryla5150.org

The application period ends April 1, 2023.

If you have any questions please email me at [email protected]
