As a reminder, demolition and sitework will begin on the bocce/shuffleboard courts early next week. Today, Dan and his Facilities Maintenance team closed off the area in order to remove benches, scoreboards, structures, etc. prior to demolition. The sitework company will begin next week to mobilize, stage their equipment and determine logistics.

Stultz would like to have all the sitework completed by August 12th so Mor Sports, the court construction company can begin construction either August 15th or 22nd depending on their schedule. November 15th is the targeted completion date. 

Various safety precautions, including the use of orange snow fencing to identify the construction zone, will be implemented. Access to the tennis courts will be limited to the east, west, and north ends of the courts. The main south tennis court entrance will be closed and tennis players will have to utilize the Ballroom restrooms as the restrooms will be closed during construction. Parking restrictions may also be in place from time to time. Stultz has mandated that no one will be allowed in the construction zone without authorization.  

Again, please look for progress reports and videos similar to the last year’s golf course updates once demolition begins in earnest.
