Is a Recession Here? Yes. Does That Mean a Housing Crash? No.
On Monday, the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER)  announced  that the U.S. economy is officially in a recession. This did not come as a surprise to many, as the Bureau defines a recession this way:
“A recession is a significant decline in economic activity spread across the economy, normally visible in production, employment, and other indicators. A recession begins when the economy reaches a peak of economic activity and ends when the economy reaches its trough. Between trough and peak, the economy is in an expansion.”

GMAR Call to Action
The GMAR has teamed up with the SE WI Emergency Support Group to provide home-cooked meals and personal care items to those in need, and WE NEED YOUR HELP!

GMAR member Rochelle Gamauf started the volunteer effort 11 weeks ago. Rochelle and her team of volunteers have cooked hundreds of meals, purchased personal care items, and delivered them to dozens of families, the elderly, and others in the metropolitan area.

You can help by making a donation on their Go Fund Me page or dropping off needed supplies from this list .
