A GMAR Member recently received the text message shown below from someone thought to be another REALTOR
®
. When the impostor would not respond with an agent code, the member had the foresight to look up the REALTOR’S
®
contact information and text her at her real phone number. It turned out that the alleged agent had not sent the text!
Just a reminder that if something seems odd or you’re just a little unsure about a situation – check into it further!
