CODE OF ETHICS DEADLINE IS APPROCHING
Just a reminder, the deadline for the current Code of Ethics training cycle is quickly approaching - December 31. What credits fulfill the ethics training requirement? See below:

WRA Real Estate CE Curriculum
If you've already completed Course 4 of WRA's 2019-20 or 2021-22 Real Estate CE Curriculum, those credits count toward NAR's ethics requirement and are automatically recorded within your membership record at our office.

Non-WRA Approved CE Curriculum
If you've already completed your credits through an approved outside provider, those credits need to be reported to the GMAR, so they can be recorded within your membership record. Please contact the GMAR by email to provide an update, michelle@gmar.com.

Still Need Credits?
If you haven't completed the required credits through WRA or another approved provider, credits need to be completed before the end of the current cycle. Failure to complete training during any cycle will lead to suspension of membership for January and February immediately following the cycle deadline, with the termination of membership starting March 1 after the cycle deadline.

The WRA Defeated Legislative Proposals That Would Have Harmed Real-Estate
The WRA and the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) secured several legislative victories earlier this year that will benefit your business, your clients, and the industry.

While these are major successes, not all legislative proposals from this year were real estate-friendly. In addition to these successes, the WRA prevented five pieces of legislation from becoming law that would have been detrimental to the real estate climate in Wisconsin.

Thanks to your contributions to RPAC, the WRA and RPAC helped to ensure that only real estate-friendly legislation was passed in Wisconsin.

Contact GMAR's Government Affairs Director, Marne Stuck if you have any questions or would like to contribute at 414-778-4929 or marne@gmar.com
