LETTER FROM THE CHAIRWOMAN
And Just like that, it's October! One of my favorite times of the year. Crisp and colorful, and my son turns 16!

I'm pleased to report that the association's strategic planning work sessions are complete. The Board of Directors, along with GMAR staff, are putting a plan in place to implement some new policies and tasks which will address some of the items that came out of these sessions. It was a very interesting process, and many of our action items will address ethics and education. This seems to be a recurring theme for GMAR, WRA, and NAR. Our surveys have also concluded that the lack of education and ethics, pertain to other offices and not our own. Interesting? This quote comes to mind, " All you can change is yourself, but sometimes that changes everything. " -- Gary W. Goldstein

Coming soon are the new Offer to Purchase forms. Please see the information below in this newsletter for training through GMAR. Again, this will be very important to not only your business, but the knowledge and competency of all as a collective industry.

The GMAR is now accepting reservations for the 2019 Holiday Party. Always a wonderful night! Make your reservations early and check out all the other events the GMAR offers while you're at it. We are all very fortunate to be part of this amazing Board, with a wealth of educational and service opportunities, strong advocacy, and a whole lot of fun!

Wising you much success this month!

Respectfully,
Amy Curler
