CHAMBER MEMBER ANNIVERSARIES

WE CELEBRATED 55 YEARS OF MEMBERSHIP WITH PRECISION PRINTS!

Tom and Cathy Jorgenson were not at the office the day I flew in to pick up some signs from Mandy Erickson. Mandy only knows us as flying in most of the time as the Chamber office often asks her to create something with short notice - and she always comes through with the perfect job whether print, signage or creative/design!

They have been a part of this community for so long and Chamber members from the get-go! We appreciate you in more ways than one!

CHAMBER EVENTS

CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT A SUCCESS ON LAND!

Had quite the row of boards outside the Bison Creek Event Center! Was nice to see all the players ready to toss some bags!

Above, left winning first place for $200 is Team Schindler. Second place top right winning $100 is Team Marschel and 3rd place below is Team Barthel winning $50. You will see Jeremy Welter of North Star Pro Realty as the Master of the Tournament and member Troy Crank/State Farm, tossing some bags. We appreciate all who sponsored and all who came with a team. We thank Bison Creek for being able to host the event. Was a fun way to spend the day!

TOMORROW AFTERNOON: From a Good Morning to a Good Afternoon Buffalo on the same day! Huikko's Entertainment Center is hosting a bowling social for our area Chambers! Come on over and let's bowl. No cost, just the expense of watching some of us get gutter balls!

If you know you are coming - just send me an email. Just like to have an idea for headcount!

WHEN IT'S OK TO BE CLINGY

As you are out and about do you make a purpose to do business with only other Chamber members? Do you recognize and thank the businesses that are fellow members? When you walk in the door of a business- take note - do they have a Chamber member window cling?

The view out of the State Farm/Mark Olson office has certainly changed since the construction of Highway 25 and his street now being a one way, but the service is still the same top notch level as always! If you need a quote - just stop on in!

MEMBER/COMMUNITY HAPPENINGS

COACHES FOR CANCER NIGHT DREW A HUGE CROWD!

If you don't know me, I'm a basketball fan! I loved playing it, watching my kids grow up playing it and enjoy now, watching the current varsity teams play even though I don't know many of the kids on the roster anymore.

Annually now for too many years to count, the Bison have hosted a Coaches for Cancer night, raising monies for a person or two in our community who is on a cancer journey. It is a night filled with fans and auction items and games and just a whole lot of fun. Of course, the night was even more fun, as we played against our friendly rival, the St. Michael Knights. We came out on top, but it was a barn burner of a game from start to finish with the crowd flooding the floor at the end.

It was nice to see our current Royalty (Josie, Kenna, Ella) there serving and to be able to have one of our own previous school district employees, Laura Barta/Lindquist be one that was recognized and receiving some of the monies raised to help her in her cancer fight!
