COACHES FOR CANCER NIGHT DREW A HUGE CROWD!
If you don't know me, I'm a basketball fan! I loved playing it, watching my kids grow up playing it and enjoy now, watching the current varsity teams play even though I don't know many of the kids on the roster anymore.
Annually now for too many years to count, the Bison have hosted a Coaches for Cancer night, raising monies for a person or two in our community who is on a cancer journey. It is a night filled with fans and auction items and games and just a whole lot of fun. Of course, the night was even more fun, as we played against our friendly rival, the St. Michael Knights. We came out on top, but it was a barn burner of a game from start to finish with the crowd flooding the floor at the end.
It was nice to see our current Royalty (Josie, Kenna, Ella) there serving and to be able to have one of our own previous school district employees, Laura Barta/Lindquist be one that was recognized and receiving some of the monies raised to help her in her cancer fight!
