Original Pancake House – Still open 7 days a week to serve you and your family
One year into the pandemic, Jeff Bulman and his dedicated staff are still serving up pancakes, crepes, sandwiches, and salads at 7395 Lee Highway in Falls Church. In 2010, the Original Pancake House relocated from Broad Street to Falls Plaza, taking over the space where McGuire’s Appliance Store had been.
The large dining space they were able to obtain has helped in the pandemic. With restaurants in Virginia being allowed to serve at 50% capacity, they’ve been able to safely space customers and continue to serve delicious breakfast meals. You know you want one of those Dutch Babies, so get on line and order one now!
They have introduced a mini–Dutch Baby in case you’re counting carbs. You can order on line for curbside pick-up, and you can even order on line while seated in the restaurant.
The restaurant was so popular at their old location that the customers filled up the parking lot most weekends, and overflowed into adjoining properties. The move to Lee Highway eliminated that problem.

Jeff has also been very active with community outreach. When moving, the color scheme and décor were updated and they acquired new tables and chairs. They were able to donate the used tables and chairs to Home Stretch to help furnish apartments for people in need.
Additionally, for the past 15 years, the Original Pancake House has collected winter clothing and toys for the disadvantaged. On Christmas Day, with help from many volunteers and his own staff, Jeff has served a free breakfast to hundreds of people, sending them off with new warm clothing and a toy. December 2020 was the first time in the past fifteen that they were unable to serve their Christmas breakfast. Simply, with the numbers of volunteers needed for this event, it wasn’t safe to do so.

However, that hasn’t stopped their efforts in the community. They are still serving their most vulnerable neighbors as well as First Responders, and you can assist with that.
The website to order one of those Dutch Babies (or anything else on the menu) is https://www.ophrestaurants.com/ and you can also make a donation to their community efforts on that same website.
