Best Doctors Canada Insurance currently offers two Health Insurance plans: Global Medical Care (GMC) and Global Medical Care Plus (GMC Plus). The difference between both plans is that the option to select the Annual Executive Medical Assessment is offered only with the GMC Plus.
Effective January 1, 2022, the Annual Executive Medical Assessment will be offered with GMC as well. This makes both insurance plans the same.
To avoid any confusion around two plans with the same benefits, only GMC will now be offered for the new business, and all the existing GMC Plus plans will be converted to GMC at the time of the renewal. This will have no impact whatsoever on benefits, service, or rate structure. There is no action required on your behalf. Updated documents will be provided at the time of the renewal.
