The Georgia Milk Producers Board of Directors meeting will be held on Monday, November 17th at the Georgia Farm Bureau Headquarters in Macon, Georgia. Georgia dairy farmers are welcome to attend the meeting.

Master Agri-Manager: Farm Business Training

The Center of Innovation is excited to partner with the University of Georgia to offer the Master Agri-Manager: Farm Business Training — a hands-on program designed to help farmers and agribusiness professionals strengthen their operations, improve financial management, and explore new opportunities for growth.

This training will cover key farm business topics like budgeting, risk management, and strategic planning — plus highlight innovations and technologies shaping the future of Georgia agriculture. Participants will leave with practical tools, a personalized action plan, and valuable industry connections.

The dates of the training will be December 16th and January 16th at the University of Georgia Griffin Campus.

David & Kim Stanford Honored with Centennial Family Farm Award

We missed this story last month but want to recognize GMP members David and Kim Stanford. The Stanfords were honored at the Georgia National Fair in October with the Centennial Family Farm Award in recognition of the family's legacy in maintaining and operating Stanford Farm at the Martin Homeplace for over 100 years. The Stanfords were one of fourteen farms to be honored with this prestigious award.
