Hi guys!
Wow! We added four new P500 games last month, and you guys' orders catapulted three of them over 500 (and
Pendragon WAY over 500!) in a month or less! Thanks so much for your support and enthusiasm for our games. It's a really good feeling when you guys let us know how much you like what we're doing here at GMT.
So the big news this month isn't what we're adding to P500 (stay tuned for another blockbuster month of additions in April!), but rather what we are adding to the PRODUCTION SCHEDULE this year. Through a combination of really excellent revenues from last Fall's sale as well as some additional financing, we are now able to commit to the following reprints of popular games later this year.
In the Fall, we have a massive (for us) schedule of 2nd editions, Reprints, and a new GMT Edition to add to the Production schedule:
Twilight Struggle Deluxe Reprint (yet another TS reprint!)
These will be IN ADDITION to the great new games we already have scheduled for Summer and Fall, 2016. (see the Production Schedule section, below) So, yeah, we're pretty excited about the games we plan to bring to you guys' game tables this year, and really happy that we can support the designers of these sold-out games with new print runs.

Speaking of sold out games, we have two recent sellouts that stunned us!
Liberty or Death and
Talon have both sold out, and we just released them in January! The feedback on both games has been terrific! Congratulations to designers Harold Buchanan and Jim Krohn, respectively, as well as their development and art teams that gave them such excellent support! Great job, guys!

3" Box Update for Triumph & Tragedy
After last month's announcement of a new edition of Triumph & Tragedy and an update kit on P500, we got a lot of requests to add an option to P500 for a new deeper, thicker box for the game. Twilight Struggle Digital Edition Update
Things are moving quickly towards release for the digital edition of Twilight Struggle from Playdek! Although I still can't tell you guys everything I know about status (NDA), I can tell you that the game is undergoing final polishing now and that it is not very far from release.
Last Saturday, Playdek released a new version of the game to testers that includes both offline (AI) and online play! Along with it, they released an update that I thought was fascinating, as it discussed their approach to the AI. Here's a link to the update, so you can all enjoy it:

Charging and Shipping Schedule

We will be shipping P500 orders of Eagle of Lille before the end of March.
Charging
We will begin charging for Eagle of Lille next Monday, March 21st. We'll also be charging for all the April releases on April 11. If you have a P500 order for any of these game, please make sure that your card information is current before the charge date. If you use the "Pay by check" option for your P500 orders, please send your check by the dates above.

Tentative Production Schedule
Here's our most current Tentative Production Schedule. Most games have stayed on track from last month's update, and we've had some very good news in terms of gathering enough funds to add to the schedule a C&C Nappy Reprint and new Expansion this summer and the GMT version of 1960 plus reprints/new editions of Churchill, Triumph & Tragedy, Unconditional Surrender, and yet another printing of Twilight Struggle in the Fall. (I know the schedule says "Possible..." for 4Q, but those reprints and 1960 are locked in - they're happening.) It's going to be a busy year!

We don't have any new P500 additions this month, although we are adding sold-out Liberty or Death and Talon to the P500 Reprint List (see Reprint section). We are very gratified to see your terrific support for the games we added to P500 last month - with 3 of the 4 new additions over 500 orders already!

Project Updates
In this new section, we'll be passing along updated status on a variety of projects, generally direct from the designers of developers. We have several this time:
Wing Leader Supremacy: 1943-45 - Lee Brimmicombe-Wood ( posted on BGG)
So, it's been a productive month.
Art: Cover. I have organised the box cover for Wing Leader: Supremacy. Antonis Karidis has done some superb work on this and I think you'll love it. I'm now just waiting the okay from GMT's art director on the submitted art.
Art: Aircraft. Ian and I are now digging into the aircraft art and have already made a significant dent. Assuming no major problems we are getting back on course.
Rules Tweak: Fighter-Bombers. There's been a discussion on fighter-bomber behaviour following some testing. This has revolved around fighter-bomber behaviour and tallies. We're going to test some changes, but the right decision seems to be to force fighter-bombers to jettison bombs if they tally an enemy, which makes tallying, as it should be, a commitment to attack rather than a tool for preventing bounces.
Rules Tweak: Flak. We are going to look at the flak rules again. We are getting a lot of wristage issues in test with some of the big 8th AF scenarios and I want to dig into this deeper now that I have the spreadsheet tools to analyse this.
Rules Tweak: Bombers. We are going to test a proposed simplification of the bomber behaviour rules that would put control of RTBs back in the hands of players.

Update - we completed the Play Book materials. The text and images have been sent to Mark S for composition.
At this point ***ALL*** materials have been delivered.
The map, box, labels and counters are in or will enter "production".
The Rule Book, the Play Book, the two Set Up Reference cards and the two Player Aid cards are in "composition". After composition, we proof, correct, proof and sign off, and then these enter production.

Cataclysm - Kevin Bernatz
Development continues with what we hope is the final rule revision to make sure the rules clearly address corner cases that can arise with a 'sandbox' type game. We've been playtesting the scenarios a last few times to insure balance and all playtesters have had a blast.

We've experienced some delay in development due to real life constraints, but playtesting is still on-going. Javier and I are working out some of the specifics of the Northern Front and the fight for the Amba's, and we are testing those changes now. On-going testing of both scenarios continues. Mr. President - Gene Billingsley
I've made a ton of progress on
Mr. President since last month's update. The new updates that cleaned up the world regions are working great, and the legislative process system is now complete, with the last details completed for a simple-but-fun Floor Vote procedure.
Work continues to round out the system, looking for areas to enhance. I've recently added the EU as a special type of ally - economic - to help drive the Eurozone State of Economy track and provide a consistent systemic backbone for the game cards that can strengthen or cause fractures in the EU.
I met with developer Mike Bertucelli (COIN Series, Navajo Wars and Commanche) yesterday, and we set plans to begin broader testing right after we demo the game at the GMT Weekend at the Warehouse next month. So we're moving forward!
