GREAT NEWS: The Allegany American Legion Riders donated $1,750 and 80 stuffed animals to the Olean General Hospital following their annual Big Bear Hug Dice Run in June. The annual event supports the hospital’s emergency department, maternity and pediatric programs.
PARK PLACE is now open for business in Lincoln Park. During warmer weather, the facility is rentable to restaurants/caterers as a food-prep and serve area. Rentals are $100 from 12 to 9 p.m. Tuesday thru Saturday. For more information, please call the city at 716-376-5677.

CEREAL CHALLENGE NUMBERS: |
The ‘throw down the cereal spoon gauntlet’ began in 2013 as an idea proposed by community resident Joann Dombeck. D.B. Busan, the pantry Warehouse Manager stated, "This challenge was a brilliant idea from Joann – especially cereal during the summer months when most children are at home and the Food Pantry needs to have on its shelves!”
Through the nine years, more than 25,070 cereal boxes have been collected. The average donated in a year is 2,786, with 2019 as the biggest collection year of 7,061 boxes.

GOACC Golf Classic Rescheduled |
GOACC Golf Classic Rescheduled: RAIN RAIN didn’t go away for the Chamber’s Golf Classic. GOACC’s 8th annual Chamber Golf Classic is now rescheduled from July’s date to Monday, August 23rd at the Bartlett Country Club in Olean.
