CASA of Westmoreland was recently approached by Goal Magazine to collaborate on a networking event for women that would offer us an ability to share our mission. There was significant miscommunication regarding the content of the event and CASA of Westmoreland never formally agreed to participate. CASA of Westmoreland has informed GOAL that we will not be participating and that they need to remove any reference or association to our organization from the event.
We appreciate GOAL’s intent and desire to help CASA of Westmoreland, but the content of the event simply does not align with our mission of providing a voice in the courts on behalf of abused and neglected children. We apologize for any misunderstanding or confusion.
