learning session - which means roll up your sleeves and work - come discover how to take and set up the massive amounts of information from DESE's data sources into easy-to-read pivot tables. Harness the power of Google Sheet's pivot tables to reveal information for more accurate inferences, data-driven conclusions, and inquiry-driven quests.
If you have experience with Pivot Tables, come bring some of your favorite configurations to share! Let's COLLABORATE and learn together!
If you're new to Pivot Tables, either bring downloaded CSV or Excel data from DESE sources - such as DRC's eDirect Interactive Reports: Item Analysis Summary, and Results Summary; eDirect's Grade-Level Reports of Student Rosters; MCDS: Item Analysis Results; MCDS: Achievement Level Reports - OR be sure to bring credentials so you can download the data to put into Pivot Tables!
Bring your laptop, your data (or way to access it), and an interest in learning how to make Google Sheets work for you.
*Those who attend should have the ability to access current MAP data sources (eDirect, MCDS, Nextera), or have reports downloaded.
